 Psalm 19

You only have to open your eyes and look up to see God's glory.  The skies are His handiwork and every day that goes past, every night time starry spectacle shows something of what He is like and describes who He is.  There is nobody on earth who isnt able to see these wonderful ways in which He communicates with us.

In the skies He has made a throne for the sun -which looks as glorious as a bridegroom coming out of his bedroom in the morning ready to run his race across the sky from one end of it to the other.  Everyone basks in its heat.

God's law is perfect and in understanding it our souls are saved

The proof of what God has done and continues to do is so undeniable - simple but incredibly profound

His laws are right - following them is the key to happiness

His commands are righteous - obey them and you will clearly see the way ahead

The fear of the Lord is clean and lasts forever.

His judgements are true and totally right and we should desire to be judged by Him more than anything else in the world. More than gold and sweet honey from the honeycomb.  Because when He judge us He is warning us and so when we learn from our mistakes and keep to the rules the next time we shall find great rewards are ours.

Who can know all his own faults?  Keep me free from hidden errors and from presumptuous sins.  Dont let them control me. Then I shall be blameless, innocent of many sins.

let the words I speak and even the very things I think be acceptable to You, O Lord my strength and my redeemer.

   Psalm 135 Praise the Lord.  Praise His name everyone.  All who stand in the house of the Lord and in the outer courts of His temple.  Praise Him because He is good.  SIng praise to Him simply because it is fun to do!  Because He has chosen us - we are His special treasure.  I know that God is fantastic, above all other gods.  He does whatever seems good to Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the deepest parts of the sea and high above the earth's atmosphere.  He makes the lightning in the rainstorms and lets the wind out of its hiding place. He gathers all those who are on the edges and brings them in. He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
