 Psalm 10

So Im wondering Lord, why it is You seem to have disappeared.  Things get tough and You suddenly arent there. People are persecuting the poor, boasting about all the things they are going to achieve, blessing the greedy and renouncing the Lord.  The wicked man doesnt look for You - God is the last thing on his mind.  He is doing well for himself and the fact that one day he is going to be judged by You has never entered his thinking.  he looks around him at those people and things which might stand in his way and he thinks ' Ha, no problem. Im pretty much invincible'   he doesnt care who he curses.  He is full of lies and oppression and his words are nothing but trouble and evil.   He lurks on street corners, secretly murdering innocient people, looking out helpless ones.  Like a lion lying in wait to catch the poor.  Luring them into his net.  He lies low and waits until the helpless cant fight any longer then He reels them in, all the time thinking ' God has forgotten - He isnt paying attention.  He's not looking, Ive got away with it'

Rise up Lord!  O God lift Your hand.  Dont forget the humble.  Why are the wicked getting away with it - saying to themselves ' Its all scott free and for nothing - God wont require me to give an account' ?

But You HAVE seen it, Lord, You know every trouble and grief and You are going to make sure it is all paid for because the helpless man committs himself to You.  You are the helper of the fatherless.  Break the arm of the wicked and evil man and eradicate every evil until none exists on this planet any more.

The Lord is King forever - You have heard the desire of the humble man.  You will prepare our hearts and Your ear will hear our cry to You to bring justice to the fatherless and the oppressed so that evil men wont reign any more.

   Psalm 135 Praise the Lord.  Praise His name everyone.  All who stand in the house of the Lord and in the outer courts of His temple.  Praise Him because He is good.  SIng praise to Him simply because it is fun to do!  Because He has chosen us - we are His special treasure.  I know that God is fantastic, above all other gods.  He does whatever seems good to Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the deepest parts of the sea and high above the earth's atmosphere.  He makes the lightning in the rainstorms and lets the wind out of its hiding place. He gathers all those who are on the edges and brings them in. He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
