 Psalm 1

If you want to know God’s favour then don’t listen to the lies,

Don’t do the wrong thing

Don’t get above yourself

If you want to know the favour of God then listen to Him and do what He tells you to do

Then you will be like a tree planted by a river, growing and bearing fruit, not suffering in times of dryness

Being sucessful in all you do.

Those who don’t know God’s favour are like chaff blown away in the wind – they cant stand in the face of the wind of the Spirit, in the presence of good and godly people.  Because God knows everything – He sees it all.  And the ungodly man isnt going to make it.

   Psalm 135 Praise the Lord.  Praise His name everyone.  All who stand in the house of the Lord and in the outer courts of His temple.  Praise Him because He is good.  SIng praise to Him simply because it is fun to do!  Because He has chosen us - we are His special treasure.  I know that God is fantastic, above all other gods.  He does whatever seems good to Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the deepest parts of the sea and high above the earth's atmosphere.  He makes the lightning in the rainstorms and lets the wind out of its hiding place. He gathers all those who are on the edges and brings them in. He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
