 Psalm 7

Lord, Im deciding to trust You.  Save me from those who are out to get me - because if You dont then they will rip me to shreds.  Oh God, if there is any fault on my part - if they have any good reason to be after me, if I have picked a fight with someone who was looking to mke peace or if I have taken anything that wasnt mine then You can let them catch me and deal with me.  yes, You can let them trample me into the ground and  lay my reputation in the dirt.

Rise up O Lord in Your anger.  Stir Yourself Lord as You see the force of the rage my enemy is exerting against me and execute judgement.  you know Ive been righteous and that I have displayed integrity.   So let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end and establish the good and godly man - only You Lord know peoples hearts and minds.  You are my protector because You know my heart and You reach out to rescue the good and godly man.

God is a just judge and He is angry with the wicked every day.  But the wicked will fall into his own trap - all the weapons he fashions will be used against him.  I will praise the Lord because He is just and good and true and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

   Psalm 135 Praise the Lord.  Praise His name everyone.  All who stand in the house of the Lord and in the outer courts of His temple.  Praise Him because He is good.  SIng praise to Him simply because it is fun to do!  Because He has chosen us - we are His special treasure.  I know that God is fantastic, above all other gods.  He does whatever seems good to Him in the heavens and on the earth, in the deepest parts of the sea and high above the earth's atmosphere.  He makes the lightning in the rainstorms and lets the wind out of its hiding place. He gathers all those who are on the edges and brings them in. He heals the broken hearted and binds up their wounds.
